Guidelines
Devices like mobile phones have become a common part of daily life and the most popular platform for creating applications for these devices is Java Micro Edition (JME). However, applications for these devices are still usually developed as monolithic and it is difficult to handle a big diversity among these devices. Therefore, an ideal development technique can component-based programming.

The general goal of this thesis is to allow SOFA 2 component applications to be deployable on mobile devices providing JME. In particular, it means to adapt the deployment of SOFA 2 applications and to change the SOFA 2 run-time environment accordingly.
