Preliminary scope of work

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na cestovní ruch a jeho rozvoj v případových studiích Ústeckého kraje a města Ústí nad Labem. V teoretickém zarámování jsou vysvětleny pojmy, s kterými se pracuje v případových studiích.
Případová studie věnující se Ústeckému kraji podrobně rozebírá koncepční dokumenty, které se zabývají cestovním ruchem a jeho rozvojem, jeho priority a opatření. Dále popisuje nový projekt kraje Brána do Čech a s ním i nově vznikající destinační agentury, kapitolu uzavírají plány Ústeckého kraje do budoucna. Stejně tak ve městě Ústí nad Labem jsou analyzované rozvojové dokumenty s důrazem na cestovní ruch a projekty realizované městem ve vztahu k cestovnímu ruchu nebo revitalizaci města a opět nástin plánů do budoucna.
Další kapitola se zabývá strukturou konceptů cestovního ruchu, základem je vlastní návrh, který srovnávám s vybranými koncepty kraje i města.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The diploma thesis is aimed to tourism and its development in case studies by the Ústí region and the town of Ústí nad Labem. In the theoretical frame, definitions utilized in case studies are defined.
Devoted to the Ústí region, the case study analyzes conceptual documents, dealing with tourism and its development as well as its priorities and measures. The study then describes a new regional project, called “Gate into Bohemia” (and new destination agencies together with it). The chapter is finished with future plans of the Ústí region.
Similarly, development documents are analyzed in Ústí nad Labem, emphasizing tourism and projects, realized by the municipality in terms of tourism or revitalizing the town (as well as possible future plans again). Another chapter deals with the structure of tourism concepts; its basis is represented by the author´s own proposal, compared with selected concepts of the region and town.
