Téma práce se týká párově randomizovaných studií. Práce bude obsahovat diskusi jejich výhod a nevýhod, shrne metody pro sestavení dvojic. Bude se zabývat použitím externích veličin pro spárování a analýzou úspěšnosti spárování. Teoreticky a simulačně vyhodnotí vliv úspěšnosti spárování na přesnost odhadů a sílu testů.

Preliminary scope of work in English
The topic focuses on pair randomized studies. The thesis will disuss their advantages and shortcomings, and will summarize matching strategies. It will address the use of external variables for matching, and analysis of matching success. Through theoretical developments and simulation studies, the effect of matching on the precision of estimates and power of tests will be studied.
