| Kromě v současnosti intenzivně studovaného vlivu antropogenních faktorů na globální chování klimatického systému, lidská činnost může poměrně silně zasahovat i do lokálního klimatu. Jedním z typických příkladů je existence tzv. městských tepelných ostrovů, tedy velkoměstských oblastí, jejichž teplotní a srážkový režim se ve větší či menší míře liší od blízkého okolí. Díky existenci řady staničních měření z městských aglomerací i mimo ně je možné projevy tepelných ostrovů poměrně dobře studovat a popisovat. Úkolem práce by měla být analýza charakteru časových řad denních měření teplot a srážek a identifikace a vyhodnocení charakteristických rysů klimatu městských oblastí. K tomuto účelu budou využita především data z evropské databáze ECA&D, případně další dostupné záznamy. |

| Aside from the currently intensively studied influence of the anthropogenic factors on the global behavior of the climate system, human activities can strongly influence the local climate as well. One of the typical examples is the existence of urban heat islands, i.e. urban areas where the temperature and precipitation regime is different from the surrounding locations. Due to the existence of meteorological measurements from both inside and outside the cities, the manifestations of heat islands can be relatively well studied and described. The aim of the proposed thesis is to analyse the daily series of temperature and precipitation and to identify the features characteristic for urban locations. Data from the ECA&D database should be employed, complemented by other available records. |
