Guidelines
Seznámit se s klimatologií stratosféry a hlavně pak s fenoménem stratosférických ohřevů. Zaměřit se na oblast jižní polokoule a popsat náhlé stratosférické oteplení pozorované v září roku 2002. Pokusit se toto pak demonstrovat i datech z projektu NCEP/NCAR reanalýz.

Náhlá stratosférická oteplení zásadně ovlivňují podmínky ve střední atmosféře. Tato oteplení lze dále rozdělit na několik typů. Na rozdíl od severní polokoule nebylo tzv. hlavní oteplení na jižní polokouli pozorováno za celou dobu měření až do roku 2002.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Sudden atmospheric warmings have a considerable influence on the middle atmosphere conditions. Those warmings may be divided into several types. In comparison with the Northern Hemisphere, the major midwinter warming was never observed in the Southern Hemisphere till 2002.
