| Preliminary scope of work |
| Review zaměřená na studium čeledi Varanidae. Zpracování poznatků o biologii Varanidae se zaměřením především na faktory ovlivňující velikost těla a přítomnost či absenci pohlavního dimorfismu. Provedení fylogenetické analýzy pohlavního dimorfismu a vymapování na kladogramu na základě literárních údajů. Experimentální část je zaměřena na testování hypotézy, že u druhu Varanus indicus, který je v dospělosti nápadně dimorfní, jsou morfometrické rozdíly mezi pohlavími patrné již u mláďat. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| Review with a view to research Varanoid Lizards, Varanidae. Elaboration of information about biology of Varanidae, with accent to factors influencing body size and presence or absence of sexual size dimorphism. Performing of fylogenetic analysis of sexual dimorphism and representing it on a cladogram, on a basis of literature. In experimental part, there is tested a hypothesis, that a species Varanu indicus, where sexual size dimorphism in mature is great, there is possible to see some morphometric differences in juvenils. |
