Preliminary scope of work
Bakalářská práce je složená z části teoretické zastoupené literární rešerší. Jejím cílem je zpracování aktuálních témat týkajících se cystické fibrózy a shrnuje možnosti získávání vzorků sputa, které jsou zásadní v rozvaze nad managementem léčby a progresí onemocnění. V praktické části je využit Standardní operační postup dle Dřevínka et al. (2023) při odběru indukovaného sputa s cílem posouzení efektivity využití v praxi, v kombinaci s analýzou pohybové aktivity a zdatnosti dětí s CF prostřednictvím 1 minute sit-to-stand testu. V rámci využití Standardního operačního postupu naše výsledky prokázaly, že tento postup není srovnatelný s invazivními metodami odběru. Dále bylo zjištěno, že děti s CF sportují průměrně více jak dvakrát týdně, což ovšem nebylo možné statisticky prokázat či vyvrátit. V neposlední řadě bylo v práci prokázáno, že zdatnost dětí je výrazně nižší než u dětí zdravé populace. Součástí je rovněž kazuistické zpracování dětského pacienta s CF po transplantaci plic.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical part represented by a literature search. Its aim is to elaborate current topics related to cystic fibrosis and summarizes the possibilities of obtaining sputum samples, which are essential in the consideration of the management of treatment and disease progression. In the practical part, the Standard Operating Procedure according to Dřevínek et al. (2023) for the collection of induced sputum is used to assess the effectiveness of its use in practice, combined with the analysis of physical activity and fitness in children with CF through a 1-minute sit-to-stand test. Using the Standard Operating Procedure, our results showed that this procedure is not comparable to invasive methods. Furthermore, it was found that children with CF exercise on average more than twice a week, but this could not be statistically proven or disproven. Finally, the study showed that the children's fitness was significantly lower than that of the healthy population. A case report of a pediatric CF patient after lung transplantation is also included.
