Preliminary scope of work
Tato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu ústavního systému Výmarské republiky, jeho nedostatků a jakou roli sehrály v následném pádu německé liberální demokracie. V zájmu komplexní analýzy se práce bude věnovat i ekonomickým, společenským a mezinárodně-politickým faktorům, jež sehrály svou roli při postupné erozi demokratického systému a následném převzetí moci nacistickou stranou NSDAP. Posléze je cílem přenositelné poznatky a poučení analyzovat na současné české liberální demokracii. Cílem práce je zhodnotit odolnost současné české demokracie, a to za použití historického příkladu liberálně-demokratického systému, který disponuje některými podobnými rysy.
Preliminary scope of work in English
This thesis is focused on analysis of the constitutional system of the Weimar Republic, its shortcomings and what role they played in the subsequent collapse of German liberal democracy. For the sake of a comprehensive analysis, the thesis will also address the economic, social and international political factors that played a role in the gradual erosion of the democratic system and the subsequent seizure of power by the Nazi party, the NSDAP. Finally, the aim is to analyse the transferable findings and lessons learned on contemporary Czech liberal democracy. The aim of the thesis is to assess the resilience of contemporary Czech democracy, using the historical example of a liberal democratic system that possesses some similar features.
