Preliminary scope of work

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je na základě analýzy a porovnání manažerských koncepcí při přípravě Mistrovství světa IIHF v ledním hokeji 2024 a Mistrovství světa IIHF žen v ledním hokeji 2025 vypracovat doporučení, která povedou ke zdokonalení organizačních procesů a zvýšení efektivity přípravy budoucích ročníků mistrovství světa v ledním hokeji. Důraz bude kladen na identifikaci klíčových faktorů úspěchu a návrh konkrétních opatření pro optimalizaci řízení těchto prestižních sportovních událostí.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The main objective of this thesis is to analyze and compare the managerial concepts in the preparation of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 2024 and the IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship 2025 and to develop recommendations that will lead to the improvement of organizational processes and increase the efficiency of the preparation of future editions of the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. The focus will be on identifying key success factors and proposing concrete measures to optimise the management of these prestigious sporting events.
