| Diplomová práce předkládá historiografický pohled na postavu Petra Parléře. Uvažuje o něm jako o osobnosti, která po skončení svého „prvního“ života z větší části upadla v zapomnění a jejíž dílo i identita byly znovu-utvořeny a následně opakovaně přetvářeny skrze historickou práci. Klíčovým cílem je osvětlit v jakých společensko-vědních souřadnicích vznikaly často se proměňující obrazy této umělecké osobnosti; jaké procesy, ideové a myšlenkové proudy stály v pozadí těchto proměn, případně jakými způsoby se do vytvářených narativů propisovaly. Zvláště zajímavé bude tematizovat parléřovské narativy z perspektivy komplexních historicko-kulturních souvislostí vstupujících do díla česky a německy píšících badatelů v překotně se vyvíjecím kontextu střední Evropy 19. a 20. století. The thesis presents a historiographical view of the figure of Peter Parler, understanding him as a personality who, after the end of his "first" life, largely fell into oblivion, and whose work and identity were re-created and then repeatedly reshaped in the works of art historians. The aim is to elucidate what coordinates in both scholarship and broader social sphere informed the ever-changing images of this artistic personality; what processes, ideas and currents of thought were behind these transformations, and in what particular ways they informed the narratives. It will be particularly interesting to thematise Parlerian narratives from the perspective of the historical and cultural complexities entering the works of scholars writing in Czech and German in the rapidly evolving Central European contexts of the 19th and 20th century. |
