Preliminary scope of work

Práce nabídne přehled přirozeně se vyskytujících i umělých proteinů nesoucích sadu zinkových prstů a jejich rolí v regulaci genové exprese a dalších biologických procesech. Mezi popsanými proteiny budou proteiny KRAB-ZNF, PRDM9, CTCF a nukleázy se zinkovými prsty.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The thesis will provide an overview of naturally occurring as well as artificial proteins carrying arrays of zinc fingers and function in regulation of gene expression and other biological processes. Among the specific reviewed proteins will be KRAB zinc finger proteins, PRDM9, CTCF and zinc finger nucleases.
