Preliminary scope of work
Mechanismy kontroly kvality membránových proteinů v endoplasmatickém retikulu s důrazem na mechanismy rozpoznání, retrotranslokace a degradace membránových proteinů. Student rekapituluje nové poznatky biogeneze membránových proteinů, jejich intramembránový folding, chaperony, rozpoznávání defektů foldingu a nové poznatky ohledně mechanismů degradace membránových proteinů s důrazem na ERAD.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Mechanisms of membrane protein quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum with emphasis on mechanisms of membrane protein recognition, retrotranslocation and degradation. The student will review new knowledge of membrane protein biogenesis, intramembrane protein folding, chaperones, recognition of folding defects, and new findings regarding mechanisms of membrane protein degradation with emphasis on ERAD.
