Preliminary scope of work

Tématem bakalářské práce je státem řízený doping v NDR. Cílem práce je zodpovědět, jakým způsobem bylo po sjednocení Německa na tyto sportovce nahlíženo a zda jim lze vůbec přiřknout statut podvodníků, který je u dopujících sportovců tolik běžný. Zároveň předložená práce zkoumá boj těchto sportovců či dalších iniciativ za jejich finanční odškodnění. Práce se v úvodní teoretické kapitole zabývá systémem státem řízeného dopingu v NDR jako takovým. V dalších kapitolách se zkoumá dění okolo východoněmeckých sportovců v 90. letech a zároveň začátek boje těchto sportovců za morální i materiální odškodnění, které vyvrcholí schválením dvou dopingových zákonů a soudním sporem s farmaceutickou společností VEB Jenapharm

Preliminary scope of work in English

The topic of the bachelor thesis is state-controlled doping in the GDR. The aim of the thesis is to answer how these athletes were viewed after German reunification and whether the status of cheaters, which is so common among doping athletes, can be attributed to them at all. At the same time, the thesis examines the struggle of these athletes or other initiatives for their financial compensation. The theoretical opening chapter of the thesis deals with the system of state-controlled doping in the GDR as such. The following chapters examine the events surrounding the East German athletes in the 1990s, as well as the beginning of these athletes' struggle for moral and material compensation, which culminates in the passage of two doping laws and a lawsuit against the pharmaceutical company VEB Jenapharm.
