Guidelines

Diplomová práce se zabývá dílem současné latinskoamerické tlumočnice, překladatelky a lingvistky Georganne Weller Ford. Práce představuje biografii a dílo autorky a zabývá se teoretickými i praktickými aspekty jejího výzkumu. V práci jsou zachyceny především hlavní zájmy jejího výzkumu, a to simultánní tlumočení (výstup, proměnné, autokorekce) a tlumočení v indiánských jazycích. Mimoto se práce také zaměřuje na další dílčí oblasti jejího výzkumu, projekty, na nichž se podílí, a vyzdvihuje její celkový přínos pro teorii tlumočení. Cílem práce je seznámit jak české odborné publikum, tak zainteresované laiky s prací přední latinskoamerické tlumočnice.
