Preliminary scope of work

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním menstruačního cyklu u žen, které jsou ve vzájemném partnerském vztahu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část.
V teoretické části je popsán fyziologický menstruační cyklus, jeho jednotlivé fáze, hormonální řízení a další změny probíhající v organismu ženy v průběhu cyklu. Dále je zde vysvětlena problematika premenstruačního syndromu a premenstruační dysforické poruchy. Závěr teoretické části je věnován jevu zvaný menstruační synchronizace neboli McClintock efekt.
Praktická část interpretuje výsledky průzkumného šetření. Byla použita metoda kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl realizován pomocí anonymních dotazníků online formou. Hlavním cílem této části bylo zjistit, zda u žen v partnerském vztahu dochází k synchronizaci menstruačního krvácení a po jak dlouhé době vztahu toto nastává. Dílčím cílem bylo zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem se u nich projevuje premenstruační syndrom či premenstruační dysforická porucha.

Preliminary scope of work in English

This bachelor thesis focuses on the menstrual cycle of women who are in a relationship with each other. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts.
The theoretical part describes the physiological menstrual cycle, its phases, hormonal control and other changes that occur in a woman's organism during the cycle. It also explains the premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the phenomenon called menstrual synchronization or the McClintock effect.
The practical part interprets the results of the survey. The used method was quantitative research, which was realized by anonymous online surveys. The main aim of this part was to find out whether women in a partner relationship experience synchronisation of menstrual bleeding and after how long this occurs. A sub-aim was to find out whether and how premenstrual syndrome or premenstrual dysphoric disorder manifests.
