Preliminary scope of work

Cílem diplomové práce je otestovat vliv chemických agens používaných při činění kůží na kvalitu a kvantitu DNA ve vzorcích dermoplastických preparátů. Kromě analýzy degradačního indexu je v plánu provést analýzu kopurifikované bakteriální DNA a vytvořit standardní operační postup pro DNA testování vyčiněné kůže. Výsledky diplomové práce budou aplikovatelné do znalecké činnosti Ústavu pro životní prostředí UK.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The aim of the thesis is to test the influence of tanning chemical agens on quality and quantity of DNA in taxidermy mounts. Besides of the degradation index analysis we plan to analyze the co-purified bacterial DNA and develop the standard operating procedure for DNA testing from tanned skin. The outputs of the thesis will be applicable in expect practise of the Institute of the Environmental Studies, UK.
