Preliminary scope of work in English |
The BiCGStab method is one of the most widely used methods for solving large systems of linear algebraic equations with a non-symmetric matrix. However, the behavior of this method in practical computations is often strongly influence by the computer arithmetic, and the method can behave unpredictably. The aim of this thesis is to study the numerical behavior of the BiCGStab method on examples, and to compare it with the BiCG method and other related methods. |
