Guidelines
A vast array of natural phenomena ranging from the motion of celestial bodies to the movements of molecules can be mathematically described by a set of equations formulated in 1833 by sir William Rowan Hamilton. The aim of this thesis is
- to study the properties of the flow defined by Hamilton’s differential equations and the numerical methods tailored for solving them
- to perform numerical experiments and compare these methods with classical methods for ODEs.
