| Preliminary scope of work |
| Předmětem mé bakalářské práce je proces posttraumatického rozvoje rodičů v důsledku narození dítě s vážným zdravotním postižením. Cílem mé práce je popsat průběh a některé faktory, které tento proces ovlivňují. Z hlediska koncepce jsem svou práci rozdělil na dvě části teoretickou a empirickou. V první části se zabývám základními koncepty traumatu zvládání stresu a modelem posttraumatického rozvoje autorů Calhoun a Tadeschi.
V druhé, empirické části jsem provedl analýzu autentického narativního materiálu, získaného rozhovory s rodiči, kteří byli v minulosti nuceni, se s takovou zkušeností vyrovnat. Zaměřil jsem se především na vnitřní copingové strategie, které mohly mít vliv na tento proces a ovlivnit tak i potenciální pozitivní změny, které se u těchto rodičů po určité době objevily. S využitím kvalitativních metod při analýze narativního materiálu jsem se pokusil nastínit možné oblasti i autentickou podobu posttraumatického růstu u těchto rodičů. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| The theme of my bachelor thesis is the process of the parent’s posttraumatic growth in reaction to the birth of a child with a disability. The aim of my work is to describe the evolution and some factors that influence this process. Conceptually my thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and empirical one. The first section is focused on delineation of fundamental concepts of trauma, stress-related reaction and Calhoun and Tadeschi’s model of posttraumatic growth.
In the empirical part I use the analysis of the authentic narrative material, obtained from the interviewing parents with this experience. I focused on the internal coping strategies and their influence on the potential positive changes that occurred after certain period of time. Using qualitative methods of research and technique of narrative analysis there have been described some possible areas and character of the parent’s posttraumatic growth |
