Předmětem disertační práce je esence tradice flámské figury ve figurální kabinetní malbě antverpských mistrů Hendricka van Balena a Jana Brueghela staršího v malbě umělců 17. a počátku 18. století, kteří importovali obrazy v duchu In Maniera Fiamminga do uměleckých sbírek v českých zemích. Podstatnou součástí práce je také studie zobrazení figury ve výtvarném umění, přístup k její konstrukci a její traktování. Dále představení hypotézy vzniku kabinetní figury, jejích kořenů a možných specifik. Tato disertační práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit situaci figurální kabinetní malby v zemích Koruny české a na konkrétních dílech vybraných autorů Johanna Spillenbergera, Johanna Heisse a Jana Rudolfa Byse demonstrovat předpoklad návaznosti na figurální kabinetní malbu antverpských mistrů přelomu 16. a 17. století. Vytyčit jejich společné stylové prvky, ale taktéž kriticky zhodnotit jejich diference.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The subject of the dissertation is the essence of the Flemish figure tradition in the figurative cabinet painting of the Antwerp masters Hendrick van Balen and Jan Brueghel the Elder in the paintings of 17th and early 18th century artists who imported paintings in the spirit of In Manner of Fiamming into art collections in the Czech lands. An essential part of the work is also a study of the representation of the figure in art, the approach to its construction and its treatment. Furthermore, it presents the hypothesis of the origin of the cabinet figure, its roots and possible specifics. The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate the situation of figural cabinet painting in the lands of the Bohemian Crown and to demonstrate the assumption of continuity with the figural cabinet painting of the Antwerp masters of the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries by means of specific works by Johann Spillenberger, Johann Heiss and Jan Rudolf Bys. To delineate their common stylistic elements, but also to critically evaluate their differences.
