Preliminary scope of work
Práce se věnuje aplikaci typologie využití historie (deployments of history) v počítačových hrách Scotta A. Merzgera a Richarda J. Paxtona na případech dvou historických počítačových her z první světové války: Battlefield 1 a Valiant Hearts. Cíl práce je na základě této typologie obě zkoumané počítačové hry srovnat a vyhodnotit užitečnost a limitace tohoto analytického nástroje.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The thesis applies the typology of deployments of history in video games by Scott A. Merzger a Richard J. Paxton on the case of two historical video games set in World War I: Battlefield 1 and Valiant Hearts. The objective of the thesis is to compare the two examined video games based on the typology and to evaluate the usefulness and the limitations of this analytical tool.
