| Tématem této rigorózní práce je srovnání sociálního zabezpečení zdravotně postižených osob ve Velké Británii a v České republice. Cílem bylo analyzovat systémy obou zemí, jejich srovnání a zhodnocení jejich kvality nastavení s ohledem na život zdravotně postižené osoby.
Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se zaměřuje na sociální zabezpečení v širším kontextu, a to včetně stručného historického exkurzu do vývoje sociálního zabezpečení ve Velké Británii a České republice. Druhá kapitola pojednává o systému sociálního zabezpečení pro zdravotně postižené ve Velké Británii. V rámci této kapitoly jsou popsány nejen jednotlivé dávky, ale také další formy pomoci, které jsou v rámci tohoto systému zdravotně postiženým poskytovány. Třetí kapitola se zabývá systémem sociálního zabezpečení pro zdravotně postižené v České republice. Čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje srovnání obou systémů a příspěvků skrze ně poskytovaných. Autorka srovnává oba dva systémy pomocí oblastí, které se poskytované příspěvky týkají, tedy mobilita, zvláštní pomůcky, péče a poskytované sociální služby. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| The topic of this rigorous thesis is comparison of social security systems for disabled people in the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. The purpose was to analyse systems of both countries, compare them and evaluate quality of their setting with regard to effect that the help provided through these systems has on lives of disabled people.
The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is focusing on social security system in a broader context, including a brief historical overview of the development of these systems in the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic. The second chapter is describing the social security system for disabled people in the United Kingdom. This chapter defines not only individual benefits provided by the government, but also other forms of help that are provided in the UK. The third chapter is focusing on the social security system for disabled people in the Czech Republic and includes all provided benefits, as well as social services. The fourth chapter is focusing on the comparison of both systems and the contributions that are being provided to disabled people through these. The author compares the two systems by areas, in which the benefits or other help are provided, e.g. mobility, special aids, care and social services. |
