Preliminary scope of work in English |
The aim of this bachelor thesis, The Depiction of Homosexuality in the Fiction of Christopher Isherwood, is to examine the portrayal of homosexual characters in selected works by the Anglo-American novelist Christopher Isherwood. The thesis attempts to compare Isherwood’s depiction of homosexuality in the novels Goodbye to Berlin and A Single Man, and relate the contrast to the respective cultural and geographical factors and personal circumstances in the author’s life. |
