Preliminary scope of work

V diplomové práci je zkoumána produkční efektivita fotbalových klubů v Premier League v sezóně 2016/2017. Pro výzkum efektivity je použita metoda DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis), prostřednictvím které je hodnocena efektivita jednotlivých klubů z Premier League. Měření jsou provedena vstupově orientovanými modely CCR a BCC. Ve výsledkové části je identifikována produktivní efektivita všech 20 klubů z Premier League v sezóně 2016/2017. V diplomové práci jsou současně navrženy hypotetické situace, při kterých by neefektivní kluby dosáhly maximální efektivity.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The master's thesis examines the technical efficiency of football clubs in the Premier League in the season 2016/2017. Efficiency research uses DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis), which evaluates the technical efficiency of individual Premier League clubs. The measurements are made by input-oriented CCR and BCC models. The result section identifies the technical efficiency of all 20 Premier League clubs in the season 2016/2017. The master's thesis also proposes hypothetical situations in which inefficient clubs would achieve maximum efficiency.
