Guidelines

V první fázi práce na bakalářce se autorka zaměří na pečlivou heuristiku - studium vydaných pramenů a odborné literatury ke svému tématu, ve druhé fázi potom na analýzu životních osudů protagonisty své práce. Opomenout nebude moci ani studium dějin a reálií ve Francii v předvečer Velké revoluce a v zámoří, tedy míst, kde markýz La Fayette působil. Výsledkem by měla být pečlivá analýza výsledků jeho aktivit v době války amerických osad za nezávislost a v době Velké francouzské revoluce.

Preliminary scope of work

V první kapitole bakalářské práce se autorka ve stručnosti zaměří na La Fayettův život před válkou amerických osad za nezávislost a před Velkou francouzskou revolucí; kromě toho v ní bude analyzovat politické a filozofické názory a ideály, které si markýz vytvořil během svých studií a které jej posléze přivedly k rozhodnutí vydat se do Nového světa. Ve druhé kapitole bude autorka analyzovat markýzovu vojenskopolitickou dráhu ve službách George Washingtona a jeho podíl na vítězství americké strany. V závěrečné kapitole se bude zabývat La Layettovým působením ve Francii v době Velké revoluce a důvody, kvůli nimž později odešel do exilu. V závěru shrne markýzovy největší a nejvýznamnější politicko-vojenské "zásluhy".

Preliminary scope of work in English

In the first chapter of this bachelor thesis the author - in short - focuses on the La Fayette´s life before the American Independence War and before the French Revolution; moreover she will analyze his political and philosophical attitudes and ideals formed during his studies, i.e. opinions, which - in the end - brought him to the New World. In the second chapter the author will analyze the marquis´ military career in George Washington´s armed forces and his participation on the American victory. The third chapter will be the analysis of La Layette´s activities in France in the times of the Frech Revolution and of the causes of his exile. The last part of the thesis will be the encapsulation of marquis activites and his greatest polical and millitary successes.
