Preliminary scope of work
Tématem práce je život a činy Hildegardy z Bingenu. Znázorňuje jednotlivé etapy jejího života. Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou věnovány Hildegardě jako abatyši a zakladatelce dvou klášterů, jako spisovatelce, významné středověké ženě, kazatelce, vizionářce a rádkyni. Rozebrána je korespondence mezi Hildegardou a cisterciáckým mnichem Bernardem z Clairvaux, papežem Evženem III. a Alexandrem III., císařem Fridrichem I. Barbarossou, pražským biskupem Danielem a mohučským arcibiskupem Kristiánem Buchem. Náplní práce je přinést celistvý pohled na Hildegardin život a dílo a zkoumat její postavení jako ženy ve středověku.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The subject of my thesis is the life and actions of Hildegard of Bingen. It represents the component periods of her life. The individual chapters are devoted to Hildegard as a abbess and founder of two monasteries, as a writer, important medieval woman, preacher, visionary and adviser. It analysed the correspondence between Hildegard and the Cistercian monk Bernard of Clairvaux, pontiff Eugene III. and Alexander III., emperor Frederick I. Barbarossa, bishop of Prague Daniel and archbishop of Mainz Kristian Buch. Contents of this thesis is to bring the compact look of life and work of Hildegard and research her status as a woman in the Middle Ages.
