Feto-maternální a maternálně-fetální přenos buněk je typický pro fyziologická těhotenství a příslušné buněčné výměny mohou přinášet zajímavé efekty jak pro matku, tak pro dítě. Bakalářská práce má za úkol kriticky zhodnotit literaturu na téma zdravotních benefitů, popř. patologií spojených s příslušnými mikrochimérismy.
