Cílem této práce je popsat základní komponenty adenosinergního signálního systému a jejich potenciální význam v molekulárních mechanismech neuroprotekce a neurodegenerace.

Goal of this thesis is to describe tne main components of the adenosine signaling system and their potential role in the molecular mechanisms of neuroprotection and neurodegeneration.
