Guidelines
The student will initially be acknowledged with the existing literature concerning the synthesis and biological applications of dendritic molecules with a focus on their use for the enhancement of skin permeation of drugs.
Laboratory work will be performed by the student in order to design, synthesize and characterize dendritic molecules using novel monomer(s).

Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the thesis is to synthesize new dendritic molecules and subsequently explore their ability to penetrate the skin as well as the effect of periphery modifications and/or the effect of different core on the skin permeation of drugs when dendrimers are co-applied with the drug.
