Autorka by v disertační práci Spirituální přínos děl Dorothea z Gazy a Kolumbána z Bobbia pro mnišství skrze metodu teologicko-hermeneuticko-komparatistickou a za použití dalších metod, literárně-kritické a lingvistické, ráda komparovala díla Dorothea z Gazy a Kolumbána z Bobbia, dvou starověkých monastických autorů z přelomu 6./7. století. Práce by chtěla ukázat jejich individuální a společný originální přínos pro mnišský spirituální život. Jejich vklad však přesahuje hranice teologie (mnišské i spirituální) a je cenný i pro psychologii duchovního života, dějiny kultur Blízkého Východu, Britských ostrovů a jižní Evropy v oblasti Středomoří.

Preliminary job description

In her dissertation, The Spiritual Contribution of the Works of Dorotheos of Gaza and Columbanus of Bobbio for Monasticism, the author would like to compare the works of two ancient monastic authors from the turn of the 6th/7th century. The work would like to show their individual and common original contribution to monastic spiritual life. However, their contribution goes beyond the boundaries of theology (monastic and spiritual) and is also valuable for the psychology of spiritual life, for the history of the cultures of the Near East, the British Isles and southern Europe in the Mediterranean region.
