| Rešerše stávající literatury o sněžném leopardovi s pomocí Web of Science se zvláštním ohledem na odhady jeho abundance a příčiny jeho ohrožení v různých oblastech jeho výskytu. Na základě této rešerše: 1. Vymapování jeho rozšíření ve světě s tím, že budou zohledněny různé metody odhadu jeho početnosti a pomocí vhodné transformace budou početnosti uvedeny do srovnatelné podoby. 2. Kritické srovnání příčin ohrožení sněžného leoparda v různých oblastech jeho výskytu, syntéza těchto poznatků a na jejím základě vypracování schématu globálního ohrožení tohoto druhu a případně i návrh na managementová opatření pro udržení stavu jeho populací. |
| Preliminary scope of work in English |
| Review of the existing literature on snow leopard based on Web of Science with special reference to estimates of its abundance and main threats in various regions of its distribution. Based on this review: 1. Mapping of its world-wide distribution with reference to methods of abundance estimates and suggestion of a proper transformation enabling comparison of abundance estimates in various regions. 2. Critical analysis of threats of snow leopard survival in various regions of its distribution, synthesis of these considerations and based on this elaboration of a global overview of threats for survival of snow leopard and possibly also suggestions for management actions to improve the likelihood of its survival. |
