Cíle práce:
Rešerše problematiky fragmentace krajiny liniovými bariérami a možností kompenzačních opatření ve vztahu k dálkovým migracím zejm. velkých šelem. Analýza současné míry fragmentace krajiny liniovými stavbami s ohledem na migrační prostupnost krajiny. Analýza kvalitativních a prostorových nároků velkých šelem v Západních Karpatech (CZ, SK, PL).
Použité pracovní metody, zájmové území, datové zdroje:
Rešerše problematiky fragmentace krajiny zejm. liniovými stavbami a sub/urbanizací. Stručná charakteristika zájmového území Západních Karpat (CZ, SK, PL) včetně návazných území potenciální disperze. Základní habitatová analýza výskytu zájmových druhů velkých šelem ve vztahu k faktorům prostředí a faktorům antropogenního rušení (využití NDOP AOPK ČR a databáze Hnutí Duha Olomouc). Analýza míry fragmentace krajiny dopravními stavbami a zástavbou s využitím metody Effective Mesh Size , včetně prognózy vývoje vzhledem k plánovaným velkým stavbám. Zhodnocení kvality nefragmentovaných území ve vztahu k habitatům velkých šelem.

Preliminary scope of work in English

Aims of thesis:
Review of issues of landscape fragmentation by the linear barriers and how large carnivores adapt their long-distance migration patterns in response. Analysis of the current status landscape fragmentation by linear barriers and its effects on landscape permeability. Analysis of qualitative and spatial requirements of large carnivores in the Western Carpathians region (CZ, SK, PL).
Working methods, areas of interest, data sources:
Literature search of issues of landscape fragmentation mainly by linear barriers and sub/urbanization. Brief description of the area of Western Carpathians (CZ, SK, PL), including areas of potential dispersion. Fundamental analysis of large carnivores´ habitats in relation to environmental factors and factors of anthropogenic disturbance (using NDOP NCA CR and database of Hnutí Duha Olomouc). Analysis of the degree of landscape fragmentation by transportation structures and built-up area with using the Effective Mesh Size method, including prognosis of development of landscape fragmentation by planned large construction. Assesment the quality of unfragmented areas in relation with habitats of large carnivores.
