Cílem práce je podat historický vývoj hydrologických a hydrogeologických poměrů Aralského jezera od padesátých let minulého století po současnost a zařadit jej do širších souvislostí. Zvláštní důraz by práce měla věnovat problematice vztahu zemědělských praktik a vodního managementu.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The main aim of the work is to bring the Aral Sea historical overview of the hydrological and hydrogeological conditions from the years fifties to the present day and include it in a broader context. Special attention should be paid to issues related agricultural practices and water management.
