Preliminary scope of work
Preliminary scope of work in English
This thesis will be aimed at the role of iron and its metabolism in carcinogenesis. It will describe normal aspects of iron metabolism and its alterations in cancer cells and also possible prognostic markers of cancer that are linked to iron metabolism. Knowledge about targeting iron metabolism to inhibit tumour growth will also be presented.
