| Základním cílem je zkoumání politicko-geografických faktorů a aspektů energetické bezpečnosti vybraných zemí Evropské unie, to znamená vlivu geopolitiky, hospodářské politiky, ekonomické struktury a velkých energetických firem na formulování a realizaci energetické a bezpečnostní politiky. Klíčové směry práce představují:
1) Energetická geopolitika - geopolitické aspekty energetické situace EU a vybraných zemí 2) Energetické politiky zemí EU a jejich cesty k vyšší energetické nezávislosti a výsledky těchto politiky na poli úspor, snižování energetické náročnosti a rozvoj obnovitelných zdrojů 3) Zájmy a praktiky energetických společností v rámci naplňování uvedených politik a cílů - zisky nebo nezávislost? 4) Cesty k vyšší energetické nezávislosti a bezpečnosti: úspěšné příklady na lokální a regionální úrovni v rámci vybraných zemí EU |

| The basic aim is to investigate the political and geographic factors and aspects of the energy security of the selected EU countries, it is the influence of geopolitics, economic policy, economic structure and the pressure of major energy companies in the formulation and implementation of energy and security policy. The key directions of the work are as follow:
1 ) Energy geopolitics - Geopolitical aspects of the energy situation in the EU and selected countries 2 ) The energy policy of the selected EU´s countries and their path to greater energy independence and the results of these policies in the field of energy savings, reduction of energy consumption and the development of renewable energy sources 3 ) Interests and practices of energy companies in pursuit of the mentioned policies and targets - gains or independence? 4 ) Ways to higher energy independence and security: successful examples at local and regional level within the selected EU countries. |
