| Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ruského angažmá na Blízkém východě v souvislosti se syrskou občanskou válkou. Práce si staví za cíl analyzovat, jaké jsou hlavní příčiny narůstající ruské přítomnosti v regionu. Zároveň zkoumá, jaké dopady by ruská účast v syrském konfliktu mohla mít, a to jak v domácím, tak globálním ohledu. |

| This bachelor thesis examines the problematics of Russian engagement in the Middle East with regard to the Syrian civil war. The aim of the thesis is to analyse what are the main causes of Russia’s increased presence in the region. Furthermore, the thesis examines what are the possible consequences of Russian involvement. |
