Preliminary scope of work
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of this work is an analysis of regional convergence in EU at regional level NUTS 2 with emphasis on CEE countries and V4. Using econometrics methods such as VAR model, linear and non-linear regression, I would like to study relationship between real and nominal convergence of regions, examine possible regional convergence clusters across EU and analyze impact of structural and investment funds on decreasing or increasing regional disparities. Since EU funds aim to close the gap between regions, the right resource allocation is crucial.
