Preliminary scope of work

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím poslechových činností v současné české škole. Jejím hlavním cílem je posílit motivaci dětí k poslechu klasické hudby v současné praxi prostřednictvím jimi preferovaných skladeb. Práce obsahuje dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou.
Teoretická část analyzuje dostupné zdroje, které se vztahují k poslechu jako materiál pro učitele a učebnice s doložkou MŠMT jako jeden z nástrojů pro poslech. Zkoumá postavení poslechu hudby v současném českém kurikulu a představuje poznatky k poslechu z oblasti muzikoterapie.
Praktická část analyzuje stav zapojení poslechu v současné škole a jeho podmínky. Dále zjišťuje spontánní preference žáků v oblasti poslechu klasické hudby. V návaznosti navrhuje, jak využít spontánních preferencí k zefektivnění výuky a podpoře budování vztahu dětí k vážné hudbě. Praktická část využívá výzkumné metody dotazování a experimentování.

Výzkum přinesl pozitivní výsledky. Ukázal, že učitelé poslech do hodin hudební výchovy zařazují v průměru alespoň jednou měsíčně a ukázal okolnosti tohoto zařazování. Odhalil tři nejvíce dětmi preferované skladby a dvě skladby zcela nepreferované. Při použití těchto skladeb ve výuce se během experimentu ukázal, jak preferované skladby motivují děti k jejich poslechu.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The present state of listening activities in elementary school music lessons, and didactic suggestions for the integration of these activities in school teaching
The thesis looks into the employment of listening activities at contemporary Czech schools. Its primary aim is to boost the motivation of school children to listen to classical music by means of choosing their preferred pieces in music lessons. The thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part.
The theoretical part analyses available sources connected with listening activities, such as materials for teachers, and textbooks certified by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as one of possible tools. It looks into the place of listening activities in the contemporary Czech curriculum, and presents also information about listening from the music therapy point of view.

The practical part analyses the present situation in the employment of listening activities at our schools. It detects spontaneous preferences of pupils in listening to classical music, and suggests how to use these spontaneous preferences to enhance the quality of music education at school, and build and encourage positive attitude of school children to classical music. The practical part is based on the interview and experiment methods.
The study brought positive results. It confirmed listening activities being included in music education lessons at Czech schools at least once a month, and revealed circumstances of these activities in music lessons. It revealed three pieces preferred to be listened to by most pupils, as well as two pieces with the lowest preference rate on the other hand. The experiment verified how the preferred pieces enhance motivation to listening activities at school.
