Guidelines
The DEECo component model is designed for modeling and development of highly dynamic systems of autonomous components. Apart from development, it allows precise simulations of large-scale deployment of systems of autonomous components. To this end, it integrates with mobility simulators (e.g. MATSim) and a network simulator (OMNet++). Such precise simulations are computationally very intensive.

The goal of the thesis is to design and implement cloud infrastructure for simulating DEECo applications (specifically Java-based DEECo application relying on the JDEECo framework). The cloud infrastructure should provide the possibility of (i) scaling the simulation on multiple machines depending on the desired extent of the simulation, expected cost, etc., (ii) easy enough configuration of the simulation and the factors observed in the simulation, and (iii) analysis and presentation of the data gathered by the simulation.
