Preliminary scope of work |
Preliminary scope of work in English |
The goal of the thesis is to take part in the inner detector design for the International CLinnear Collider for e+e- and to evaluate its main physics and detecting performance. For this ILC detector simulation system will be studied and used to determine basic parameters (efficiency, spatial resolution, momentum resolution, etc.) for various detector options.
Improvement of the model used is also foreseen, namely detector description and insertion of the real component characteristics. The student is expected to contribute to their determination with the help of beam, laser and source tests. |
