Cílem práce je vysvětlit změnu postoje francouzského prezidenta Hollanda k fiskálnímu paktu a úsporným opatřením v eurozóně. Ve své předvolební kampani Hollande sliboval radikální změnu - posun od usporných opatření k pro-růstovým a hlavně znovuotevření a renegociaci fiskálního paktu. Po volbách však slibovaná změna nepřišla, spíš naopak. Práce využívá sociologicko-politický koncept Eurokratického pole a dívá se na prezidenta Hollanda jakožto na hráče v relevantním poli. Z uspořádání daného pole a pozice prezidenta Hollanda v něm pak práce vyvozuje závěr.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the thesis is to explain the change of attitude of the French President Hollande towards the fiscal treaty and the overall austerity policies in the eurozone. In his elections campaign, Hollande promised a radical change of course - end of austerity and introduction of pro-growth measures, and not least the re-opening and re-negotiation of the fiscal treaty. However, no such change took place after the elections. The thesis employs the sociological-political concept of the field of Eurocracy and considers President Hollande as a player in a relevant field. The conclusion is derived from the structure of the field and President Hollande´s position in it.
