Preliminary scope of work

V diplomové práci se snažím nastínit problematiku komunikace sester s ventilovanými pacienty na resuscitačním oddělení. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda sestrám činí problém dorozumět se s pacienty, kteří mají zajištěné dýchací cesty a které formy komunikace jsou nejčastěji užívané sestrami při péči o tyto pacienty při vědomí a v analgosedaci. Dále bych chtěla zmapovat, které alternativní metody komunikace jsou nejvíce využívané na resuscitačním oddělení. Na základě posledního zvoleného cíle se pokusím objektivně porovnat pohled sester a pacientů na problematiku komunikace při zajištěných dýchacích cestách.V teoretické části se zaměřím na komunikaci, její problematiku s ventilovanými pacientya především na důležitost správné a efektivní komunikace. Následně bych chtěla komplexně zpracovat možné metody komunikace s pacientem se zajištěnými dýchacími cestami.
Empirická část bude založena na kvantitativním výzkumu, kdy potřebná data budou získána formou dotazníkového šetření. Jako respondenty jsem zvolila sestry pracující na resuscitačním oddělení. K porovnání názoru mezi sestrami a pacienty na problematiku komunikace mi poslouží bakalářská práce (Ledererová, 2013), která zkoumala zkušenosti s komunikací ze strany pacientů, kteří měli zajištěné dýchací cesty.
Výstupem této práce bude vytvoření informační brožury o možnostech komunikace s pacientem, který má zajištěné dýchací cesty a také doporučení pro praxi, jak správně komunikovat s těmito pacienty.

Preliminary scope of work in English

In my diploma thesis, I am trying to introduce a problematic of communication between nurses and ventilated patients at Department of Resuscitation. The aim of the thesis is to discover if nurses have problems with communication with patients with secured airways and map the forms of communication that are used most often by nurses when taking care of ventilated patients when they are conscious or analgosedated. Then I would like to map which alternative methods of communication are used the most at Department of Resuscitation. On the basis of chosen aim, I would like to compare a view of a nurses and a patients on the problematic of communication between nurses and patients with secured airways.
The theoretical part focuses on communication, problematic of communication with ventilated patients and most importantly on the importance of correct and effective communication with patients. Then, I would like to complexly compile methods of communication with patients with secured airways.
The empirical part will be based on quantitative research. The data will be gathered by questionnaires. Respondents will be nurses from Department of Resuscitation. To compare opinions of nurses and patients on problematic of communication, I will use bachelor thesis (Ledererová, 2013), which looked into experience on communication of patients with secured airways.
The output of the thesis will be an informative brochure about possibilities of communication with patients with secured airways and as well recommendation for praxis, how to properly communicate with these patients
