Guidelines
Cílem práce je návrh a implementace překladače SQL dotazů pro netradiční databázový systém. V rámci této práce je obsažen syntaktický a sémantický analyzátor jazyka SQL a překladač do relační algebry. Tento front-end bude spojen s optimalizujícím back-endem vyvíjeným v rámci diplomové práce Vyhodnocování relačních dotazů v proudově orientovaném prostředí. Dotazy přeložené tímto řetězcem budou vyhodnocovány systémem Bobox [Bednárek et al. 2012].

Preliminary scope of work in English
The goal is the implementation of a SQL front-end for a non-traditional database system. The project of this thesis includes a SQL parser, a semantic checker, and a translator into relational algebra. The front-end will be connected to an optimizing back-end being created within the thesis Evaluating relational queries in pipeline-based environment. The queries translated by the pipeline will be executed in the BoBoX system.
