Preliminary scope of work

Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapovat strukturu současného finského trhu s tištěnými médii a jeho přibližný vývoj. Práce se zaměří konkrétně na periodicky vycházející tisk, tj. noviny a časopisy. Nastíní historické souvislosti, týkající se finského mediálního systému, a představí hlavní charakteristiky tohoto systému. Zároveň se bude zabývat vlivem internetu na finská tištěná média a jejich výhledem do budoucna.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to map out the structure of contemporary Finnish print media market and its approximate development. The thesis will focus namely on the periodically issued print, i.e. newspapers and magazines. It will outline the historical background of the Finnish media system and introduce the main characteristics of the said system. At the same time it will deal with the influence of internet on Finnish print media and its possible future outlook.
