Diplomová práce se zabývá užitím ekonomických nástrojů v mezinárodních smlouvách o ochraně životního prostředí a jejich vztahem k mezinárodnímu ekonomickému právu. Cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti užití ekonomických nástrojů a zhodnotit jejich účinnost, zkoumá proto jejich fungovaní v rámci hledání mechanismů, které by lépe zajistily dodržování závazků ze smluv, aniž by se dostaly do konflitku s mezinárodním ekonomickým právem. Ekonomické nástroje jsou uvedeny jako možná odpověď na implementační deficit mezinárodních smluv.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The subject of this thesis is the usage of economic instruments (EIs) in multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) and their relation to international economic law. The thesis aims at analyzing and evaluating the possibilities of using economic instruments. Therefore, it studies their functioning while searching for mechanisms, which would effectively ensure the compliance with the treaties‘ provisions as well as the compliance with the international economic law. Economic instruments are introduced as a possible answer to the implementation deficit of international treaties.
