Preliminary scope of work
Preliminary scope of work in English
In my bachelor´s work I concentrated on diabetes mellitus, a chronicle metabolic disease resulting in the syndrome of diabetic foot, which becomes more and more frequent both in the Czech Republic as all over the world. The syndrome of diabetic foot is probably the most stressful complication of this disease and about 15% of patients suffering from diabetes have to face it during their lives. I focus on causes of its origin, its development and also on possibilities of both prevention and therapy requiring complex approach provided by various professionals. A physiotherapy which should be applied both during prevention and during the treatment of already developed complications plays an important role as well.
