Preliminary scope of work
Diplomant/ka by se podílel/a na sběru fenotypických dat (podrobné antropometrické vyšetření, dotazníková data, biochemie) a na genetických analýzách vybraných kandidátních genů pro diabetes 2. typu a Alzheimerovy demence. Soubory budou zahrnovat pacienty s diabetem, AD a kontrolní jedince. Na Endokrinologickém ústavu v Praze právě probíhá výzkumný projekt na toto téma, diplomová práce by byla součástí této studie.
Preliminary scope of work in English
Student should be involved in the collection of phenotypic data (detailed anthropometric examination, questionnaire data, biochemistry) and the genetic analysis of selected candidate genes for type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. The files will include patients with diabetes, AD and control subjects. The Institute of Endocrinology in Prague is ongoing research project on this topic, thesis would be part of the study.
