Práca sa zaoberá úpravou medzinárodného obchodu s poľnohospodárskymi produktmi podľa Dohody o poľnohospodárstve Svetovej obchodnej organizácie. Práca popisuje vzťah Dohody o poľnohospodárstve k iným Dohodám tvoriacim systém WTO. Následne analyzuje samotnú Dohodu o poľnohospodárstve a jej tri hlavné piliere; prístup na trh, domáce podpory a vývozné podpory. Práca sa zároveň dotýka aj budúcej úpravy obchodu s poľnohospodárskymi produktmi - tak, ako sa javí pravdepodobná podľa doterajšieho priebehu rokovaní Rozvojového kola z Dohy. Svoje miesto má aj zhodnotenie určitých krátkodobých negatívnych následkov liberalizácie svetového obchodu s poľnohospodárskymi produktmi.
Preliminary scope of work in English
The thesis deals with the regulation of international agricultural trade in the World Trade Organization and its Agreement on Agriculture. The thesis describes the relations of the Agreement to other agreements that form the WTO system. Afterwards the thesis analyzes the Agreement on Agriculture and its three main pillars; market access, domestic subsidies and export subsidies. It also deals with the possible future regulation of international agricultural trade according to the outcomes of the Doha Development Round negotiations. The thesis also considers some of the negative short-term effects of the liberalization of the world agricultural trade.
