Study of the journal and its contribution to the Czech national self-awareness. Magazine of the Tourists (Časopis turistů) became during his publishing important tool for the Club of Czech tourists at its establishment, expansion of its activities, education of club members and other readers. It also played the role of promoter of national consciousness. How the magazine worked and what has contributed to the establishment and maintenance of national identity and pride?
