| Tématem diplomové práce „Sekuritizace migrace ve střední Evropě“ je problematika mezinárodní migrace v prostoru střední Evropy z pohledu bezpečnostních studií. Propojování témat mezinárodní migrace a bezpečností státu je označováno pojmem migration-security nexus. Z pohledu bezpečnostních studií patří problematika migrace mezi tzv. nové bezpečnostní hrozby. Rozšiřování katalogu bezpečnostních hrozeb reflektuje rozšiřování konceptu bezpečnosti. Kromě tradiční vojenské bezpečnosti je předmětem zájmu bezpečnostních studií také bezpečnost environmentální, ekonomická, společenská a politická. Z tohoto hlediska spadá migrace do společensko-politického sektoru společnosti. V oblasti mezinárodní migrace patří mezi hlavní sekuritizovaná témata především přístup k sociálnímu státu, integrace cizinců a nelegální migrace.
Tato práce se prostřednictvím komparativní analýzy pokusí ověřit platnost následující hypotézy: Bezpečnostní přístup k migraci nereflektuje reálnou situaci na poli migrace ve vybraných středoevropských státech. Pro účely této analýzy byly zvoleny následující středoevropské státy: Česká republika, Polsko a Maďarsko. Cílem práce je popsat migrační situaci a imigrační politiky ve vybraných středoevropských státech, upozornit na převládající bezpečnostní pojetí této problematiky v prostoru střední Evropy a zjistit důvody tohoto přístupu k migraci a azylu. Záměrem práce je dále zjistit, zda je bezpečnostní perspektiva ve vztahu k problematice migrace ve středoevropských státech oprávněná, tedy zda bezpečnostní pojetí problematiky migrace odpovídá reálné situaci migračního prostředí ve vybraných státech. |

| The Thesis “Securitization of Migration in Central Europe” deals with the issue of international migration in Central European countries from the perspective of Security Studies. The newly emerged link between issues of international migration and state security is called migration-security nexus. From the perspective of Security Studies the issue if international migration belongs to the group of so called new security threats. Broadening of the security threats catalogue reflects widening of the concept of security. In the field of international migration the main securitized issues are access to the welfare state benefits, integration of foreigners and illegal migration.
Using the comparative analysis this thesis verifies validity of the following hypothesis: The security approach to the issue of migration does not reflect the real situation of migration phenomenon in selected Central European countries. The following countries of Central Europe were chosen for the purposes of this analysis: Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. The aim of this thesis is to describe the situation on the field of migration and immigration policies in selected Central European countries, to point out to the prevailing security concept of this issue in Central Europe and to find out the reasons for this approach to the migration and asylum issues. |
